الثامن من آذار تحت الأحتلال

بيان

يستمر الاحتلال يلتهم زمن نهوض المرأة العراقية للعام الرابع على التوالي مرتكبا أبشع

الجرائم ضد إنسانيتها وحقها في الحياة والكرامة والحرية مصادرا سيادة دولتها

مغتصبا قيمة الشرف التي تجسدها ناهبا ثروات أرضها ملوثا أنهارها وسماء

وطنها بسموم أسلحته الفتاكة ومخلفاته النووية ضاربا بعرض الحائط الشرائع السماوية

ومبادئ حقوق الإنسان جاعلا من قانون الغاب شريعته وناموسه مسلطا خنجر الفتنة

إلى صدر العراق ,فهل للعراقية أن تحتفل بيوم 8 آذار

والاحتلال كابوس لا يودع أيامها المشحونة بالفاجعة على مدى

السنوات الأربعة الماضيات ؟ المضافة إلى سنوات الحصار

الجائر وقبلها سنوات الحروب التي التهمت شبابها ورجالها ؟

لن تستصرخ العراقية الضمائر وقد اغتصبت الطفلة عبير أمام مرأى الضمير المحلي

والعربي والعالمي وفي حضور رجالات الأديان المقدسة الذين اكتفى بعضهم بشيئ من

الأسف الخجول

وصمت أغلبهم إما عجزا وإما انشغالا بمشاغلهم اليومية وطقوس عباداتهم الشكلية

وكأن واجباتهم المقدسة تجاه طفولة عبير في إجازة دنيوية إلى إشعار آخر !!!

قبل عبير وبعدها هو مسلسل اغتصاب العراق بصمت دولي جبان

ورعاية المنظمة الدولية وقد تحلل زمنها وانهار بانهيار قيمة الإنسان في زمن حضارة السلعة

التي تجسدها أميركا عن جدارة تحت لواء الرأسمالية المتوحشة .

ليس للمرأة العراقية اليوم إلا أن تمضي في نضالها من أجل الحرية التي تنشدها لمجتمعها

ووطنها وأمتها وإنسانية عالمها ولتستعيد كرامتها ولتصنع لنسلها من بعدها أعمدة

السيادة وأسباب الاستقرار الاقتصادي والسياسي والاجتماعي على قاعدة

الحضارة العالمية المؤنسنة .

إذا الشعب يوما أراد الحياة فلابد أن يستجيب القدر

إن المرأة العراقية القابضة على مفاتيح حريتها , والواعية لأسباب انعتاقها , فإنها لمدركة

أن أميركا والصهيونية ليستا قدرا لا يرد , بل أن إرادة الانتصار تستدعي القدر أن يستجيب

عاشت المرأة العراقية صانعة المصير وصنو الرجل العراقي في مشروع التحرير

والنصر نحو مجتمع العدالة والكرامة والحرية والمساواة والرفاه والتقدم

The 8^th March is upon us as the occupation is on the

door step of its fifth year. This occupation that has,

and still is devouring Iraqi women’s achievements,

committing the most heinous crimes against her

human rights, her right to life in dignity and freedom,

confiscating the sovereignty of her country, ravaging

her social space and her security, violating her values

and traditions, seizing the resources of her land,

polluting her environments with prohibited

weapons and depleted Uranium.

This occupation takes the law of the jungle as its

charter. This charter, that flies in the face of all

international and humanitarian laws as well as

all sacred laws common to all humanity. All this

while the occupation points the dagger of civil strife

at the chest of the Iraqi people, so how can Iraqi

women celebrate International Women’s day

while the nightmare of the occupation still goes

on? Her suffering seems endless, after years of

war and the US/UK sponsored harsh economic siege.

Hana Ibrahim said:” Iraqi women are angry at the

deafening silence of the world at large on the

monstrous crime of the rape and murder of 14

year old Abeer Qassim Hamza at the hands of the

occupiers. Where is their anger and outrage?

Abeer was not the first and unfortunately will

not be the last, as recent events had

demonstrated. What happened to Abeer is

what is happening to Iraq while the whole

world looks the other way.”

This is the era of putting commodities and profit,

before all values, deservedly embodied by the US,

the era of brutal international capitalism.

Iraqi women have no choice but to carry on

with the fight for freedom for her country and

for the sake of her human rights. She has no

choice but to fight to reclaim her dignity, her

country’s independence and stability and resume

her struggle for a just society for

the future generations.

While the Iraqi woman will never give up the

cause of her emancipation she is aware that

this goal requires her active and equally vital

role in the liberation struggle. Iraqi women

take their destiny in their hands to confront

and defeat the American and Zionist designs.

Together with her partners in the struggle Iraqi

women strive for victory, for freedom, for

equality, for social justice, for a thriving

and progressive Iraq.
